My Role
At the time that I was with Amplifyn, and I had the opportunity to work on a re-branding and modernization project for Vetera, a prominent player in the Veterinary Software industry in the DACH region. This case study outlines our journey in revitalizing Vetera's branding and website to align with their vision of modernizing the platform while enhancing the user experience.
Challenge
The challenge was to modernize Vetera's outdated website and address its poor SEO performance. The goal was to create a contemporary brand identity and an engaging user experience that resonates with the modern veterinary community, while retaining Vetera's legacy and credibility.
Process
Discovery & Ideation
We began by conducting thorough user research and comprehensive competitor analysis. This helped us understand user preferences, pain points, and industry trends. Based on these insights, we defined a clear site map and created wireframes to visualize the new website's structure. Concept designs were then developed and presented to the client for approval.
Design
Drawing from the ideation phase, we proceeded to the visual design stage. We established a design system that incorporated a cohesive set of illustrations and icons, ensuring consistency across all branding elements. This design system not only elevated the website's aesthetics but also set the foundation for future developments, enhancing scalability.
Delivery
Upon implementing the new branding and modernizing the website, Vetera experienced a significant increase in website traffic and user engagement. The revamped website attracted a new generation of veterinary professionals, positioning Vetera as a forward-looking and innovative solution provider in the industry. The improved branding contributed to Vetera's distinct identity, setting them apart from competitors.
Enhanced Brand Image
The re-branding efforts resulted in a new and improved website, boosting Vetera's brand image and credibility within the veterinary community.
Consistency
The website's design was harmonized with Vetera's existing branding, fostering a consistent and recognizable identity across all touchpoints.
SEO-Friendly Design
By implementing an SEO-friendly design, the website witnessed a steady increase in organic traffic, improving its search engine visibility.
Rapid Growth
Within months of the website's launch, Vetera experienced substantial growth in website visits and customer acquisition. The modernized platform resonated with the target audience, driving engagement and business expansion.
